The Foundation of Shri Vaishnav Group of Institutions for Professional Studies and Research was originally laid in the year 1884 as VISHNU DHARMADA by the cloth merchants of Vaishnav cult of Indore which was later reconstituted as Shri Vaishnav Sahayak Kapda Market Committee in the year 1934.

Under the able guidance of Shri Vaishnav Sahayak Kapda Market Committee, Shri Vaishnav Sahayak Trust was established in 1940, Shri Vaishnav Charity Trust in 1971, Shri Vaishnav Shaikshnik Avam Parmarthik Nyas in 1981 and Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Trust in 2002.
